Otake Plant
The Otake Plant, which looks out to the Seto Inland Sea from its location in Otake-City, Hiroshima Prefecture, is the core of Mitsui Chemicals' operations and is part of Japan's first petrochemical complex established in 1958. Operation commenced in February 1962 with the aim of producing low-density polyethylene, and due to subsequent technological innovations, products including the ionomer resin HIMILAN and the ethylene (meta) acrylic acid copolymer resin NUCREL were added to the production lineup.

*When you get in the cab, tell the driver to go to "Mitsui Dow Polychemical" or "Mitsui Chemicals' Otake Plant side". (Please note that Mitsui Chemicals is divided into the Iwakuni Plant and the Otake Plant by the Oze River.)

Chiba Plant
The Chiba Plant, located in Ichihara-City, Chiba Prefecture, is part of the Mitsui Chemicals complex in the Keiyo Industrial Zone that stretches along the coast of Tokyo Bay. Production of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin EVAFLEX and low-density polyethylene began at the plant in April 1967, and other products including the multi-purpose sealing resin CMPS have since been added to the production lineup.

On Route 16, there are signs for "Mitsui Chemicals" and "Mitsui Dow Polychemical" on the ocean side.
Turn to the signboard side, enter the gate immediately, and the building on your right is our office.
After getting off the car, please enter the main entrance (there is a signboard with the company name on the side).
Please use the intercom in front of you on your right to contact the reception desk where you will be visiting.(There is a sign that says "1st floor: Technical Center" and "2nd floor: Chiba Plant")
The automatic door will be unlocked.
